Tabitha aged 15, studyng textiles, has now been sponsored. Merida aged 15, studying textiles,has now been sponsored Grace, aged 18, is taking business studies. Rebels killed her father leaving 8 children with their peasant mother who cannot support them.
Betty, 16 , studying catering, has now been sponsored Pius, 16, studying motor vehicle mechanics, has now been sponsored. Stella, 18 and from Kumi. Her father died in a car accident, leaving 12 children with their peasant mother. Studying business.

Ronald aged 18, studying motor vehicle mechanics, has been sponsored Penninah, 19 from Tororo, studying textiles, has now been sponsored Stella, 18, studying plumbing. Rebels killed her father, leaving 5 children with their peasant mother who struggles look after them and cannot pay school fees.
Robert aged 16, studying electrical installation,has been sponsored David, 18, studying building and concrete practice , has been sponsored Suzan, 17, studying textiles, has been sponsored


Pontius, aged 19. His father died from AIDS, leaving 3 children with their mother who is very poor. He is studying plumbing and sheet metal works, Tophine is 18, from Jinja district, and studying catering and hotel management. Her father died from AIDS, leaving 9 children with their very poor mother. Bosco from Jinja is 18 and studying motor vehicle mechanics. His father died from high blood pressure in 2002, leaving 4 children with their mother.
Esther is 16 and is studying catering and hotel management.She never saw her parents and grew up in an orphanage, and was adopted by her church. Justine is 17 and from Masindi. Her father died from intestinal obstruction, leaving 8 children with their mother. Studying  catering and hotel management. Brenda , aged 17 is studying catering and hotel management. Her father died from AIDS and her mother died in a car accident.

Ismael is 16 and is studying plumbing . His father is an alcoholic and his mother suffers from mental illness. There are 9 children living in complete poverty. Charles aged 17 is studying motor vehicle mechanics, and has now been sponsored. James, 17, has been sponsred. Studying motor vehicle mechanics.
Phiona 17 and wishes to study catering. Both her parents died from HIV/AIDS, leaving 4 children with no-one to pay school fees. Betty is 16 and from Mbale. She is studying textiles. Her father died from typhoid and her mohter died in a car accident, leaving 7 children. Annet is 18 and studying nursery teaching. She has now been sponsored.


Denis, 16, has been sponsored to study motot vehicle mechanics. Amina is 18 and from Jinja, studying catering and hotel management. Both her parents died from HIV/AIDS, leaving 2 children. Sylvia is 15 and studying catering and hotel management. Her mother abandoned her at birth, and her father died from HIV/AIDS.
Harriet aged 16 was born into a polygamous family. Both parents died of HIV/AIDS, leaving 12 children orphaned. Studying catering and hotel management. Rehema is 14 and studying catering. Her father died in a car accident in 2003 and her mother died of a fever the same year, leaving 6 children orphaned. Loy is 16 and studying textiles. Her mother died of HIV/AIDS and her father of an unknown illness, leaving her with her grandmother.


Rebecca is 19, and comeds from Jinja. her father died from HIV/AIDS and her mother from cancer. 5 children were left with the grandmother. Studying business. Sadly Kurthum died on 19th February 2008, having suffered prolonged pain in her legs. She was just 17 years old. Marrion is 20 and studying nursery teaching. She comes from JInja. Her father died from malaria, leaving 6 children with her very poor mother.
Christine is 16 and studying catering. Both her parents died from HIV/AIDS, leaving 3 children with nobody to support their education. Proscovia is 17 and from Mukono. Her father died of AIDS, and her mother abandoned 7 children to marry another man. Studying catering. Joyce is 17 and studying catering. Both her parents died from HIV/AIDS, leaving six children with an aunt who struggles to support them.
Isaac is 17 , and is studying plumbing.His mother was murdered  in 2001, and  his father died in 2006 leaving 9 children orphaned. Daniel, 16, comes from Apac district towards the war torn north of Uganda. Rebels killed his father and his mother died in a car accident. Studying catering. Denis is 17 and is studying motor vehicle mechancics.His father died of HIV/AIDS, leaving 3 children with their mother who is sickly and very poor.
Betty is 18, and is studying electrical installation. Her father died of HIV/AIDS, leaving 3 children with their mother who can not afford school fees. Tina is 17 and from Jinja. Her father died in 1995 of an unknown illness, leaving 4 children with their poor mother. Studying catering and hotel management. Rose is 17 and from Mukono. Her father died in a car accident and her mother died of cancer, leaving 4 children orphaned. studying catering.
The following students started in 2006, so have completed their basic skills year. In 2007 they still require sponsors.

 

Eiru Denis aged 17 from Soroti in central/northern Uganda, an area of ongoing hostilities. His father died of HIV/AIDS in 2002 . his mother is alive but sickly and very poor. Studing elctrical installation

Nabatindira Robinah, aged 18, from Mukono District between Kampala and Jinja. Her father suffers from cancer, is bed ridden and very old. Her Mother divorced 10 years ago, remarried and later died in 1999. Studying textiles. 

Nakasango Ruth, aged 15, from Jinja District . Both parents died of HIV/AIDS her father in 1998 and mother in 2001. They left 5 children with uncles. Studying textiles. 

Kazoora John, aged 18, from Soroti in northern Uganda. His father was murdered in 1988 before he was born and the mother married again, had 4 other children but passed away in 2003 after a snakebite. Studying building and concrete practice. 

Nalubowa Florence, aged 17, from Mukono district, between Kampala and Jinja. Both parents died of HIV/AIDS her mother in 2000 and father in 2004. 5 children were left with no support for school fees. Studying catering and hotel management.  

 

Wejuli George William aged 16 comes from Busia District. His father died due to cerebral malaria in 2005 and left 5 childrenwith their mother who is very poor .studying electrical installation.

Odeke Julius, aged 18, from Soroti District in northern/central Uganda. His father died due to HIV/AIDS in 2000. He left 4 children with their mother who is sickly and poor and cannot support them. Studying building and concrete practice.
