Abic Ambrose
Ambrose is from Gulu, an area in the north troubled by civil war. He is 18 and studying electrical installation. His father died in a car accident and his mother from HIV/AIDS  SPONSORED

Syllia, studying textiles, is 15. Her parents dissappeared in a people's displacement camp leaving five children with nobody to care for them

Scovia is from Mukono, east of Kampala and is one of four children left with a poor mother when her father dissappeared. She is 16 and studying catering.

Michael from Kabale in the south west is aged 15 and studying car mechanics. His father, a security officer, was shot while on duty. He is one of seven children

Micklos aged 20 is doing the building course. His father died of HIV/AIDS and his mother is sickly and poor. There are 8 children .

Moses is 19 and studying motor vehicle mechanics. He is one of three children whose father died of HIV/AIDS and whose mother is sickly.

Harriet is 17 and studying catering. Her father was poisoned through alcohol , and her mother is very poor. One of seven children  SPONSORED

Florence, studying motor mechanics, lost her father in a fire in 2007. Mother has run away. Her brothers are in a camp in Pader with their grandmother.

Vicent aged 19 and studying motor mechanics  is from Jinja. Father ran away leaving poor mother and 5 children. SPONSORED

Rebecca is 16 and studying textiles. She never saw her father, and was told he died of AIDS before she was born. There are four children in the family.

Alex from Kabale in the south west is 19. His father died in a car accident and his mother from malaria. He is studying plumbing . SPONSORED

Nelson, aged 18, is from Jinja. His father died in a car accident , leaving his mother with 5 children. He's studying car mechanics. SPONSORED

Eseza is one of 3 children whose parents died from HIV/AIDS. She is 19, from Jinja and is studying textiles                         SPONSORED

Mary is 16 and studying catering. Her mother was left to care for eight children when their father died from a heart attack in 1993. She is from Jinja. SPONSORED

Josephine is one of nine children  whose father died of malaria. She is 17 years old and studying catering.

James is one of ten children orphaned when his father died of cancer and his mother from a heart attack. He is studying motor mechanics. SPONSORED

Fatihi is 17 and studying plumbing. He is one of 8 left in the care of their mother when the father died of malaria. From Jinja.

James is from Mukono, east of Kampala. He is 18, His father died of HIV/AIDS and his mother from cancer leaving 8 children. He is 18 and studying plumbing.

Sadat is 15 and studying motor mechanics. Both his parents died of malaria, leaving 7 children wthout support. From Mukono.

Fazir is 16, from Jinja and studying plumbing. His father died from a heart attack, and 7 children were left in the care of their mother, who is very poor.

Bonny is from Jinja. He is 17 and studying motor mechanics. He is one of 4 children, His father was poisoned when Bonny was still young.

Moses lost his father to a heart attack. He is one of seven children from Jinja. He is 18 years old and is studying motor mechanics.

Musisi Brianson is just 15 and studying electrical installation. He is one of 7 whose father died of malaria leaving the poor mother to care for the family.

Proscovia is from Kamuli, north of Jinja. Her father drowned in a river , and her mother died of AIDS. She is 16 and studying textiles.

Anna from Jinja is 20 and studying catering. her father died in 1998, leaving 7 children in the care of their mother. SPONSORED

Caroline is 18, and from Mbale in the south west. Her father died of cancer and her mother of high blood pressure. She is studying textiles   SPONSORED

Mwajuma lost her father in the war in the north, and her mother died of HIV/AIDS. She is 16 and studying catering  SPONSORED

Ruth, from Mukono,  is 15 and studying catering. Her father died of cancer in 2007, leaving the poor mother to care for 11 children.

Suzan is studying catering. She is 17 and from Mbale in the south west. Her father died in a car accident and her mother from HIV/AIDS.

Mary lost both her parents from malaria, and was one of 7 children orphaned. She is now 17 and is studying textiles.

Namukadyo Phiona

Phiona is just 14. Both her parents died from HIV/AIDS, leaving two children with no support.She is studying catering .

Victoria is 17 and studying catering. Her father was killed by rebels in the north and her mother died from HIV/AIDS. Six children were orphaned.

Ruth, 17, from Arua ( N Uganda) Her parents are alive but living in a displaced persons camp in Sudan. She lives with an aunt. Studying catering.

Okiria Michael Alone

Prossy is 15 and studying textiles. Both parents died from HIV/AIDS., leaving 5 children without support.

Sam is 17 and is studying motor vehicle mechanics. His parents died due to the war in the north. Polio as a child left him lame in one leg. One of 8 children.

Michael, 17, is studying motor mechanics. Father was a rebel and  was killed by the Uganda army. Mother re-married and left 4 children with no support .

Julius is 18 and from Pallisa, Eastern Uganda. Both parents died from HIV/AIDS, leaving 5 children with their aunt. Studying plumbing.

Kasubati is studying motor mechanics. His father died in a car accident, leaving 5 children with their mother, who is very poor.

Francis is studying carpentry, and is 17. His father died in 2004, and the mother was left to support 4 children

Denis from Lira is 19 and is doing building and concrete practice. Both his parents were killed in the war in the north, leaving 6 children behind.

Nicholas is 17 and  studying electrical installation. He is from Kampala. Both his parents died from HIV/AIDS.

Annet is one of 8 children orphaned when their father died after a short illness and their mother from malaria. She is studying electrical installation SPONSORED

Stephen is 16 and studying catering. His mother abandoned the family and re-married and later the father died fron HIV/AIDS.

Joseph is 19, from Jinja , and studying building and concrete practice. His father died in a car accident, leaving 6 children with their mother.

Vicent is one of 4 children orphaned when their father died from a heart attack, and the mother from 'pressure' He is from Mbale, and is studying building.

Richard from Mukono, studying building. Both his parents died from HIV/AIDS. He is 17 years old.

Gustine is from Jinja. He is 17 and studying carpentry and joinery. 9 children were left with their mother when the father died of a brain tumour
